Brown Family Missions, Stand for Them: 2013

Following God's amazing love has brought us home! Praise God for the incredible journey...and Praise Him we have not "arrived!" They say that when you are on the mission field God writes a mission on your heart and defines who you are. He not only created in us but filled us with love, wisdom and purpose.

We believe God for the completion of our plan and purpose in Zambia.
We believe God for growth and depth in relationships here and in Zambia
We believe God for the provision and leadership we need to serve Jesus, love relentlessly, laugh at lies and live as citizens of heaven.

We will continue in courage and faith as He goes ahead and pulls the right people and connections together. God is holding us in the wait as He creates something new.

We are so thankful for Africa's Child and the Murphy family. May God pour out His blessings, provision, and protection for them and their medical mission as they continue to love and serve vulnerable orphans and widows in Zambia. We have decided to follow God's call in a different direction, With tremendous prayer and council John is officially resigning and we will not be continuing in ministry partnership.

Sponsor children in Zambia while working closely with families to create independence. Pictures of Beatrice, Mudenda, Choolwe, Eliza and Nadwenda are coming.
Reorganize and network as we work toward filing for an independent NFP focused on supporting Zambian born and run missions, Zambian leaders, and constructing a rescue for girls right in Kalomo. Praise God for going ahead of us, building Zambian relationships and providing connections both stateside and with Zambian churches and leaders.
Renew as a family and follow God's leading in sharing about Zambian children, sex trafficking in Zambia and our experience there. We are also taking leadership and coaching classes from amazing like-minded leaders and friends while John uses his new ordination to share the Gospel and serve stateside.

One of our last activities in Zambia: the kids joined with the Murphy children to present a nativity story at an amazing orphanage in Zambia. Thank you Mike and Linda for letting us love your babies!

Mike and Linda live and love in Zambia. We are so incredibly blessed to know them.

Azzie worked closely with our family, watching out for us, showing us around and working with John witnessing in the compounds. He is a very dear friend. Azzie cares for his family and multiple orphans in his home.
